With Thanksgiving right around the corner, now is the perfect time to talk about turkeys. Most kids in Japan have never eaten turkey let alone ever seen one, so it was up to us to explain and show them pictures of this festive, brightly-plumed bird. After learning about them, our munchkins got to make one! This involved sticking on a handful of colorful feathers, wings, legs and even a head with a red (balloon) wattle. Our kids loved making them but enjoyed playing with them even more!
