Pumpkins, Pumpkins, All Around!

Today, we had a fun filled day with everyone’s favorite orange-colored squash, the Pumpkin. Our tiny tykes got to experience two awesome activities involving them.
The first thing we did was color and decorate their very own sketchbook Jack-o-Lantern. Putting a crayon in their hands, we let them get to work as they prettied their perky pumpkins with bright flashy colors that accentuated their fabulous faces!

If that wasn’t enough, we threw on some aprons and made some pumpkin muffins! Our magnificent munchkins mashed the pumpkin, poured the milk, added an egg and pancake mix into a bowl, then whipped it up to perfection. The result, well, let’s just say they were asking for seconds.

What a busy day we had, but judging by the wide smiles on their faces, it was well worth it!
