The Shape of Food

We had a packed class today as we learned about shapes (circles, squares and triangles) and some foods that (occasionally) take those shapes. The munchkins had to match pictures of the food with the three basic forms, then stick them onto the corresponding area on their sketchbook page. I cannot stress how much fun this activity was. The kids were delighted to see all the different kinds of foods and loved figuring out where they should go. It’s times like these and seeing those smiles that make my job so enjoyable!
